To do our part, Sun City Ortho is remaining open to take care of the urgent needs of our patients. We feel strongly that keeping our patients out of hospital emergency rooms, when possible, is best for our patients, the El Paso medical community, and our healthcare system as a whole.
We remain open to treat our patients’ urgent needs
We’re proud of people doing their part by staying home, so as the number of at-home injuries have increased alongside the number of at-home projects, we’re providing treatment for these injuries to keep patients out of the ER. Additionally, if patients are ill or worried about leaving their homes due to health concerns, we can meet with patients via telemedicine to alleviate stress and keep them out of the hospital.
We are protecting our patients and staff from COVID-19
To protect our hardworking staff and valued patients, we have several safety measures in place. All staff members exhibiting any signs of COVID-19 will be asked to stay home, and all office personnel wash their hands frequently. All patients are physically spread out within the office to prevent potential exposure. If you are a patient visiting our office for an emergency, we ask that you stay home if you’re experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, have been with someone experiencing symptoms, or have traveled outside of El Paso.
In addition to keeping our staff safe, we are working hard to keep them employed. We’re always available to meet with staff, listen to their ideas, and allow them to stay home when they feel the need to. We’re incredibly proud of and grateful to our staff for contributing to El Paso’s community outreach during this time. Every day, they show up ready to serve our injured patients who cannot wait for this pandemic to pass in order to be seen.
